At Accolade Fitness, our main goal is to give each member an optimal workout experience by (1) providing up-to-date, professional grade equipment that is functioning 100% of the time and (2) maintaining an inviting, clean facility.
We are a locally owned, independent gym. That means an owner or manager will be on site during all operating hours to ensure that the gym runs smoothly and that all member questions or concerns are addressed. We invite members to notify us immediately if they see something that needs cleaning or that is not functioning properly. We will do our best to make it satisfactory.

You’ll notice our friendly staff by their Accolade Fitness shirts. Typically, you will find an employee behind the desk and one in the gym area. They are there to serve you and will gladly assist you and answer your questions. Just look for the Accolade Fitness logo! Meet Our Staff.
On our very first day of operation, Accolade Fitness closed early to add new cardio machines, and we have not stopped there! We add and replace equipment on a gradual, but continual, basis. Just ask what’s new. We encourage members to let us know at the front desk when a piece of equipment is not in working order. We will check it out and order repairs as necessary in a timely manner.
Every member is allowed to bring one workout guest (age 13 and up) per visit. That means anytime you come to the gym, you are welcome to bring your lifting partner, running mate, houseguest, friend, spouse, parent, sibling or child. Your only obligation is to arrive with your guest and have him or her sign on our waiver list at the front desk. Please note that guests are only allowed to workout. Classes, training and tanning are for members only.
We have five private tanning rooms available for our members. All you have to do is bring your indoor lotion and goggles! Please feel free to use our clean locker rooms after your tanning to reapply makeup or clean up to get back to the job.
Come on in for a tour. Any of our staff would be happy to show you the Accolade Fitness facility. You won’t be pressured – just informed. We welcome any and every one interested in fitness or just a place to tan!
At Accolade Fitness, we encourage you to pursue your individual fitness goal, whether it includes routine walks on the treadmill, weight lifting or a focused program to increase your physical strength and endurance. Your training is whatever works for you. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance if you are unsure how to use any of the equipment.
If you prefer one-on-one training, you may have seen members working with a personal trainer at the gym. While Accolade Fitness does not employee personal trainers, we do allow them access to our gym as independent contractors. You must be a gym member to hire a personal trainer. Personal training is provided only by approved, licensed and insured Certified Personal Trainers (CPTs) that are authorized by Accolade Fitness. Members may not, under any circumstance, bring in their own personal trainers due to potential liability and legal issues.
Doug Jones, Personal Trainer at the West Gym
Since the late 1990’s, Doug has trained over 1000 clients – ranging from professional athletes to senior citizens and everyone in between! As a dedicated personal trainer and owner of Extreme Condition, Doug designs training and nutrition programs to fit the needs of each of his clients so that they can achieve their goals. Doug’s credentials include a degree in Sports Medicine and certifications with the American Sports & Fitness Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. Aaron White, Personal Trainer at the South Gym
Aaron’s credentials include a BS in Physical Education from McPherson College and certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT, CES, PES). Victoria Winn, Personal Trainer at the West Gym
Victoria Winn has been in the fitness industry for 37 years. Her experience ranges from gymnastics coach to personal trainer to nutrition coach. Her expertise is in taking clients from where they are to where they want to be while making training fun and safe. She is results driven. Victoria is the owner of BUILD IT COACHING SERVICES. Her certifications include but are not limited to American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach.
